Ionian Islands from Messolongi or Astakos gulet cruise boarding day is Saturday. Ionian islands gulet cruise archipelagos offers different scenaries from other gulet itineraries. Compared to Cyclades or Dodecanese, you will find this islands green with different architecture style and traditions. Your gulet will sail Kefalonia, Itaka, Kalamos and Kastos islands. Itinerary focuses mainly on coves, small ports and islands in the area, out of big tourist places.

 

This a a perfect cruise for theose who love tranquil sailing, family athmosfere on board, great crew and lots of swimming and sightseeing. Ionian islands gulet cruise is sailing in July and August.

 

This is the indicative itinerary offered for our cabin cruises.

Should we also go to Fiskardo (the "St. Tropez" of Ionian), our itinerary focuses mainly on coves, small ports and islands in the area, out of big tourist places.

 

If you choose a private cruise the Captain adapts the route to your wishes taking into consideration various factors such as ports, weather forecast and ... the return date.

One transfer from Athens Airport to the yacht and back is organized without extra-fee (meeting the Saturday at 4:30 pm at the Airport and you wifl be back there the next Saturday before 1 pm).

TO ADD : weekly boarding contribution for marina fees, crew's meals expenses, efectricity, water, half-board and open-bar: 350 Euro per aduft (170 euro for chiidren under 12, 250 euro from 12 to 18 ) and then nothing is charged on board. Children bed : 50% discount - 3rd person in triple cabin : 33% discount - Extra fee in case of single occupation : +60% - no corkage fees

 

All taxes and VAT are included  - Crew service is not included (to be given in the end of the cruise,base is 7% to 10% of cabin price)


Boarding starts on Saturday afternoon at Messolongi or Astakos port. Transfer from Athens Airport on Saturday can be arranged (meeting at 4:30pm). Boarding the evening in Messolongi or Astakos (close to Patras). The first day (Saturday) your gulet will stay in the harbor; sailing starts next morning.

 

You will disembark your gulet Saturday morning after breakfast in Messolongi or Astakos.  Transfer back with arrival at Athens Airport before 1pm.

 

The first service on board is breakfast. Last service on board is breakfast the last day. If your flight does not coincide with times of boarding we can store your luggage or book the hotel near the port for you. (extra charge).

 

Exact location of your gulet and the contact person at the port of Messolongi or Athens aiport will be indicated on your voucher. Ionian islands gulet cabin cruise departures are guaranteed with min. 4 passengers.

 

The captain reserves the right to make necessary changes to Ionian Islands from Messolongi or Astakos according to weather conditions to ensure the safety and comfort of our guests.

DAY 1 - SATURDAY

The boarding starts in the evening in Messolongi or Astakos Harbour. On the first day, the service starts on the boat with dinner and an overnight stay in Messolongi or Astakos Port. Messolonghi Port is located in the center of an unique protected lagoon area, which is still undiscovered by mass tourism.  Experience it all yourself. Step ashore and enjoy Greek hospitality and food.

 

DAY 2 - SUNDAY

After your breakfast, you will be informed about the cruise itinerary and the boat. The cruise will move towards Kefalonia – Agia Effimia. Agia Effimia is a village on the east coast of the island of Kefalonia. It is a traditional fishing village centred on a small harbour. It contains a number of taverns, bars and shops as well as tourist accommodation and local residences.

 

DAY 3 - MONDAY

Fiskardo is a village, part of the municipal unit of Erisos. It is the northernmost port of Kefalonia, a short distance from Ithaca. The coast around Fiskardo is mainly rocky with numerous pebble-beached coves. Fiskardo and the dense forest in the surrounding area have been declared areas of great natural beauty and are protected under Greek law.

 

DAY 4 - TUESDAY

Atokos is a small Greek island in the Ionian Sea off the coast of Acarnania and is one of the most westerly and perhaps remotest of the Echinades islands.

 

DAY 5 - WEDNESDAY

Mitika Harbour is aWith gentle winds and mild weather almost all year round, this harbour is the ideal place for those who want to enjoy nautical sports. Restaurants in the area will provide quality dishes and traditional Greek cuisine that will spice up your holiday and will ensure your stay here will be one to remember.

 

DAY 6 - THURSDAY

Kalamaki is on the south-east coast of Zante, just a couple of kilometres from the airport. The resort has no obvious centre – just a few easy-to-get-around streets and some traditional tavernas dotted about the place. It’s the charm and laidback appeal that rack up its popularity – plus a first-rate beach.

 

DAY 7 - FRIDAY

Last day before embarkation we will visit beautiful natural island Kouneli.

 

DAY 8 - SATURDAY

The guests will leave the boat with precious memories by 09:00 after breakfast.

 

This itinerary may need to CHANGE due to inclement weather conditions, difficulties at docking or unforeseen circumstances. This decision will be made solely at your captain’s discretion, based on the safety of the group and the ship.
