A fabulous tapestry of blue and green with this departure as you explore the stunning Adriatic coastline and islands. Spend your mornings admiring the spectacular scenery, enjoying swimming in the crystal-clear Adriatic Sea, and your afternoons and evenings exploring old historical towns or having fun till morning hours. This route, departing from Opatija and ending in Trogir, features, among others, the city of Zadar and a visit to Krka and Kornati National Parks.

Important Information

The published itinerary and day-to-day schedule are subject to change due to weather and port conditions, closures because of public holidays, or other circumstances beyond our control. Every effort will be made to operate the programme as planned; however, changes may still be necessary throughout the cruise. The final schedule will be provided on board.
Due to the limited number of berths in certain ports, especially in Hvar and Vis, the vessel may dock or anchor in an alternative nearby port, such as Stari Grad for Hvar or Komiža for Vis.
All Katarina Line cruise departures are guaranteed. However, Katarina Line reserves the right to cancel a departure if fewer than 20 participants are booked.
Katarina Line reserves the right to change the assigned vessel if necessary, including in the case of charter arrangements. Guests will be notified at least 30 days before departure whenever possible.
Passengers are required to follow the Ship Rules, which are available in written form on board, particularly the rules concerning bringing food and drinks onto the vessel. In the event of inappropriate or disruptive behaviour, Katarina Line and/or the captain reserve the right to require the passenger concerned to disembark.

Katarina Line highly recommends that passengers take insurance against cancellation of reserved services. Katarina Line offers insurance packages (Travel Insurance, Accident Insurance, Private Liability Insurance and Luggage Insurance).

Disclaimer: Due to specific mooring conditions and requirements in some Croatian ports, Katarina Line vessels are moored side by side, making it necessary for the passenger to cross from one vessel to another, with gaps in between them, to get to the shore. In such cases, clients must take special care when crossing and do so at their own risk. Crew assistance will be provided to guests who need and request it. The cruise is not recommended for clients in wheelchairs or with limited mobility. Katarina Line and the vessel’s captain reserve the right to change and modify the route due to weather conditions and conditions in the ports visited. The order of visits may differ from the published itinerary if ports are overcrowded or when a change would improve the overall guest experience.

Payment Conditions

A non-refundable deposit of €400 per person for deluxe cruises or €300 per person for classic cruises is due upon reservation.

The outstanding balance is to be paid at the latest 45 days before the departure date for individual bookings (up to 4 cabins) and at the latest 12 weeks before the departure date for small group reservations (5 or more cabins).

Name change fee: €20 per person. Date change fee: €20 per person (valid only if the change is requested at least 45 days before departure and only for another departure date within the same 2027 season). Changes to a different season are not permitted under this condition and are treated according to the regular cancellation terms. These options cannot be combined for a single reservation.

Day by Day Itinerary

Departure at 13:00h (late arrivals can join in Krk) with lunch on board followed by a swimming stop in the crystal clear sea en route to Krk island - the largest of the Croatian islands. Krk has immense variety in its villages large and small, gentle green promenades, bare rocky wilderness, tiny islands and hundreds of hidden bays and beaches. Evening at leisure to enjoy numerous cafes and restaurants alongside the buzzing waterfront. Overnight in the town of Krk.

After breakfast, set sail for Rab, the celebrated “island of love.” Upon arrival, join a guided walking tour (included for Katarina Voyage & Adriatic Collections), exploring the town’s striking stone walls, Romanesque bell towers, churches, palaces, and timeless facades. The narrow streets and lively squares double as open-air galleries, where local artists bring the past to life. Sample the island’s signature dessert, the Rapska torta (included for Katarina Voyage & Adriatic Collections). Weather permitting, enjoy a peaceful stroll through the centuries-old Komrčar Park, the perfect spot to catch a sunset over the Adriatic. Overnight in Rab.

Morning cruise from Rab towards Zadar along the coast of Pag island with a swimming stop on the tiny Maun island. Enjoy a guided tour of the city (included for Katarina Voyage and Adriatic Collections), which was for centuries the metropolis of Dalmatia, and today is the centre of the region. Zadar is rich in the cultural heritage of world importance visible on every step. See the Roman forum dating to the 1st century AD, the church of St. Donatus dating to the 9th century AD – the most famous Medieval basilica and the symbol of the city, the mighty city walls with representative Port and Land gates from the 16th century AD, and numerous palaces, villas. The town is full of great restaurants mostly in the centre. Of special interest are the famous Zadar Sea Organ, unique in the world and The Greeting to the Sun light installation. Morning departure for the National Park Kornati (entrance fee included), which consists of around 90 islands, islets and rocks. In addition to the many islands, the continental part includes only ¼ of the surface area of the park, while the rest belongs to the marine ecosystem. Enjoy the ruins of the ancient Illyrian fortress, Roman villas, old Christian church of St Mary and medieval fortresses and settlements which enrich the islands’ heritage, and the reefs here are sometimes as steep as 100 m deep in the sea. Afterwards, we continue to Vodice, a typical small Dalmatian town, where you can enjoy the evening at one of the lively terraces of abundant restaurants and bars, or simply walk along the beautiful beaches. Morning departure from Vodice towards Skradin, the gateway to Krka National Park. Enjoy cruising through the scenic Krka River Canyon before reaching Skradin. Upon arrival, visit Krka National Park and explore its impressive waterfalls and unspoiled nature (entrance fee to be paid on the spot). After returning on board, lunch will be served as the cruise continues towards Šibenik, one of the oldest native Croatian towns on the Adriatic. Upon arrival, join a guided tour of Šibenik (included for Katarina Voyage Collection), exploring the historic old town dominated by the UNESCO-listed St. James Cathedral, charming stone streets, and lively waterfront. After breakfast, sail towards the island of Zlarin, known for its relaxed atmosphere, crystal- clear sea, and long tradition of coral harvesting. Enjoy free time for swimming, walking through the village, or simply experiencing island life without cars or crowds. In the afternoon, continue cruising to Primošten, a picturesque Dalmatian town set on a small peninsula, famous for its vineyards and local wines. Explore the old town, stroll along the promenade, or sample local wines in one of the cosy taverns, before returning to the ship for a special Captain’s Dinner on board. Overnight in Primošten.

Depart Primošten in the morning and cruise south towards Trogir, enjoying views of the Dalmatian coast along the way, with time for swimming stops depending on conditions. Arrive in Trogir in the afternoon. This UNESCO-listed town, often called a “floating museum,” is located on a small island connected by bridges to the mainland and Čiovo peninsula. Join a guided walking tour (included for Katarina Voyage Collection) or explore its narrow streets, Romanesque and Renaissance architecture, and lively squares. Overnight in Trogir harbour.

Cabins

Cabins vary in size depending on the vessel category. Deluxe Superior cabins are 15-20 m² and feature wardrobes, a safe, hairdryer, toiletries, bathrobe, and slippers. Deluxe cabins are 12-17 m². Premium Superior and Premium cabins range from 8-14 m². Traditional Ensuite cabins are approximately 5-8 m², while Traditional cabins are 3.5-4 m². All cabins are functional, typically with two beds and basic storage such as a small wardrobe or shelf.

Premium Superior and Premium vessels offer either twin or double beds. Some cabins can accommodate three people, with a double bed and an additional bed above or beside it. Due to the limited number of bed types, we cannot guarantee a specific bed arrangement but will do our best to accommodate your preferences. If you have a specific bed type request, please mention it when making your reservation, and we will try to fulfil it.

On Deluxe and Premium vessels, cabins are equipped with either twin or double beds. The typical size for twin beds is 90/100 cm x 190/200 cm, while double beds measure around 150/160 cm x 190/200 cm. On Traditional Ensuite vessels, most cabins have bunk beds, although some may feature twin or double beds. A double bed on Traditional Ensuite vessels typically measures 130/140 cm x 190/200 cm, while bunk beds are 80/90 cm x 190/200 cm. Traditional category vessels exclusively have bunk beds, sized 80 cm x 190/200 cm.

Cabins on the vessel can be located either on the deck or below the deck. On-deck cabins are found on the main deck (the deck where you embark) or the upper deck (above the main deck). These cabins offer direct access to the sea and more fresh air. Lower deck cabins are located in the hull of the vessel and are typically quieter, as they are less likely to have passengers walking by. These cabins are also naturally cooler due to their proximity to sea level, and the hallways below deck are often air-conditioned, which helps regulate the temperature. Most lower deck cabins have small portholes.

Lower deck cabins are located in the hull of the vessel and typically have a small porthole. According to Croatian law and vessel regulations, these portholes must be kept closed during navigation to prevent water from entering the cabin. When the vessel is docked in port, the portholes can be opened. On newer Premium Superior / Premium, Deluxe and Deluxe Superior category vessels with steel hulls and air-conditioned cabins, the portholes cannot be opened.

The frequency of cabin cleaning depends on the vessel category: Deluxe Superior, Deluxe, Premium Superior, and Premium vessels offer daily cabin service. On Traditional Ensuite and Traditional category vessels, the crew does not enter your cabin during the cruise, so passengers are responsible for keeping their cabins clean. However, two towels per person are provided, and the crew will clean the common areas. If you would like your cabin cleaned during the cruise, this can be arranged for an additional fee upon request. In all categories, cabins are cleaned and fresh bed linens are provided before your arrival.

Deluxe Superior, Deluxe, Premium Superior, and Premium cabins are air-conditioned. However, air conditioning may not be available at night after midnight if there is limited access to electricity. Traditional Ensuite cabins are also air-conditioned, but similar to the other categories, it might be limited during certain times, such as when the vessel is not connected to electricity. Traditional cabins do not have air conditioning, but common areas like salons and hallways on the lower deck are typically air-conditioned. The air conditioning is only functional when the vessel is powered by a generator or connected to an electrical supply in the harbor. If the vessel is docked in a smaller harbor without electrical access, the air conditioning will be turned off to avoid disturbing the peace with the generator noise.

No, it is not possible to book different cabin categories on the same vessel. Each vessel is categorized by specific cabin types, such as Deluxe Superior vessels having only Deluxe Superior cabins, Premium Superior or Premium vessels offering Premium Superior or Premium cabins, and so on. You will need to book cabins from the same category if travelling together on the same vessel.

If you plan to sleep on deck under the stars, it is recommended to bring a sleeping bag. Mattresses, pillows, and sheets cannot be taken out of the cabins, so you'll need your own sleeping gear for this purpose.

Yes, there is warm water available on the vessels. The vessels are equipped with a central heater to ensure a steady supply of warm water. However, electricity and water are available in limited capacity, and the generator that provides power may not be used during the night or when the vessel is docked in quiet areas. The water tanks are sized to match the number of cabins and beds, so there is generally enough water, provided it is used rationally.

It depends on the vessel category. On Deluxe Superior vessels, you can use beach towels for free throughout the week. On Deluxe vessels, one beach towel is provided free of charge. For other vessel categories, beach towels are available for rental for 6 EUR per week per towel. Additionally, you can purchase a branded beach towel for 12 EUR.

Luggage & Embarking

Dubrovnik: Luggage Hero, Obala Stjepana Radića 14. Trogir: Luggage Storage Kamerlengo Castle, Ul. Hrvatskih mučenika 28, 21220 Trogir. Marina Baotić: storage is available directly within the marina. Split: storage options are available throughout the harbour. Opatija: ask our representative for the current options, as they may vary seasonally.

We suggest bringing light clothes such as shorts, T-shirts, bathing suits, sandals, and similar items. It's also a good idea to pack a few long-sleeve shirts, long pants, or a wind jacket for cooler weather and breezy nights. Don't forget essentials like a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, a beach towel, and additional personal towels if you're travelling on Traditional Ensuite or Traditional vessels. If you forget anything, you can usually buy summer clothes and equipment in most of the harbours.

There is no limit to the size or amount of baggage, but your luggage must fit into the cabin. If you feel that your luggage is oversized, please contact us in advance so we can arrange a solution.

Vessels embark from several ports along the Croatian coast, depending on your cruise itinerary. In the Split region, due to ongoing reconstruction works in the Port of Split, embarkation is currently organized from multiple departure ports across the wider Split area, including Trogir Ferry Port, Trogir Town Port, Marina Baotić in Seget Donji, and Omiš. On embarkation day, our representatives, wearing white and turquoise shirts, will be present at the departure port with guest lists, vessel names, and cabin information to assist you with check-in and boarding.

Recommended parking: Opatija — the parking lot in Ika; Trogir — Luka & Ivan Parking; Split — the parking lot at the Radisson Hotel; Dubrovnik — the parking lot within Gruž harbour. Please note that we are not responsible for any vehicle damage, and parking is available for personal vehicles only. Please inform us of your car arrival at the time of booking.

Food & Drinks

The food on the vessels reflects traditional Croatian cuisine. Deluxe Superior, Deluxe, Premium Superior, and Premium category vessels offer buffet breakfasts. Traditional Ensuite & Traditional category vessels provide a continental breakfast, including tea, coffee, fruit juice, bread, butter, jam, and occasionally ham and cheese. If you prefer an English breakfast, you can request it either during your booking or onboard. For lunch, all Deluxe category vessels serve a three-course meal with a salad bar and a cheese plate. Premium & Traditional category vessels also offer a three-course lunch. Dinner is not included, as we encourage guests to explore the local restaurants for evening meals.

The Captain's Dinner is a special event held once a week, where the captain invites guests to enjoy an optional meat or fish menu. It provides a wonderful opportunity for guests and the crew to mingle and socialize. The Captain's Dinner is included for all Deluxe and Premium category vessels. For Traditional Ensuite & Traditional category vessels, the Captain's Dinner can be ordered during the reservation process or arranged and paid for on the spot. The dress code for the event is Smart Casual/Elegant.

Due to the limitations of small kitchens on board, we can accommodate special dietary needs such as vegetarian meals or other specific dietary requests. To ensure we can cater to your needs, please inform us of any dietary requirements at the time of booking. Our onboard chef will do their best to accommodate your preferences.

It is not allowed to bring and consume your own drinks on the vessel. However, drinks can be ordered at the vessel salon, which serves as the restaurant, living room, and bar. The bar offers a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. If you would like a specific drink not available on board, please inform the crew, and they will do their best to arrange it for you at the next port of call.

Drinks purchased from the vessel bar can be paid in EUR. Guests receive daily reports of the drinks consumed the previous day, and payment is due at check-out. On all Deluxe and Premium vessel categories, payment by credit card is also available.

Vessel Rules

Vessel rules are meant to protect the passengers on board. Please read, and act accordingly and with consideration for other passengers. If a passenger behaves in a way to cause or is likely to cause danger or distress to any third party, we reserve the right to terminate the travel of the person(s) concerned without any refund. Passengers on board are obliged to abide by the ship's rules, as the captain is responsible for the safety of all passengers and the crew. Passports are to be handed to the captain for registration on the first day of the cruise. Jumping or diving from the ship during navigation is strictly forbidden, and for safety reasons climbing on the masts is also forbidden. During rough weather, movement should be minimized and done with care, as floors can often be wet and slippery. Passengers should take extra care when crossing between ships docked alongside each other in port — it is advised to ask a crew member for assistance, and movement between ships is the individual's responsibility. Safety belts/life jackets are placed under the seats in the dining area, under the bed in cabins, or inside the wardrobe, depending on the vessel. Jumping from the sun deck is strictly forbidden. As vessels are acoustic, passengers are asked to behave accordingly. Special attention must be given to the night peace onboard, which officially starts at midnight; in National Parks night peace is required even earlier and passengers will be notified of this. Smoking in the restaurant area and the cabins is not allowed, and when smoking on deck in designated smoking areas, passengers must not throw cigarette butts in the sea. Passengers are not permitted to bring their own drinks and food onto the vessel, including anything purchased on shore in ports of call — the only exceptions are personal care products, medicine, food products specifically for infants, and food products for special diets; regional products purchased during port visits are stored onboard and returned to passengers at the end of the cruise. Bed linen and other cabin items are not to be moved from the cabin, and only toilet paper may be thrown in the toilet. To maintain a clean and comfortable environment, please do not enter the ship while wet from the sea or in swimwear — dry off and change first. Portholes in lower deck cabins must be closed during navigation to prevent seawater entering the cabin. Any hot tub onboard is to be used according to the written instructions provided. Passengers are obliged to respect mealtimes, which will be posted in the dining area, as well as departure times from ports. Passengers are responsible for looking after their own belongings while travelling; we cannot be held responsible for personal belongings left behind or damaged. Any damage caused must be compensated to the captain by the passenger, and lost cabin keys will be charged for. It is strictly forbidden to throw rubbish into the sea. Water is limited on board, so please use it rationally — the same applies to electricity, which runs on the generator. The captain and crew are available for any questions and will do their best to make your stay onboard a pleasurable one; if service is not satisfactory, please contact our office for further help. A service charge is not included in the price, so please tip at your discretion.

Participants in biking or hiking activities are responsible for their own safety and must follow the instructions and decisions of the guide at all times. The guide reserves the right to adjust the itinerary based on weather conditions and the group's abilities. Guests are responsible for the rented bike and equipment and must return it in the same condition as received; in the event of damage, the guest is liable for the cost of repairs per the published price list, available on request from the guide. We are not responsible for any damage to personal bikes or those rented from other suppliers. We recommend two guides for groups of more than 25 participants per departure, in which case one double cabin onboard should be reserved for the additional bike guide.

Prices, Payment & Refund Conditions

The main currency in Croatia is the Euro (EUR). Certain expenses during the cruise are paid on the spot, such as drinks on board, optional excursions, transfers, entrance fees, gratuities and other personal expenses. Card payment options may be available on Premium, Premium Superior, Deluxe and Deluxe Superior vessels, while some vessels may not accept cards on board. For this reason, we recommend carrying some cash during the cruise. ATMs are available in larger towns and ports such as Opatija, Split and Dubrovnik, but may be limited in smaller destinations.

The price is per person per week in double/twin cabins (DBL/TWN) and is stated in EUR.

Yes, a 50% surcharge applies to single-use cabins based on the twin-share price.

Yes, a 5% discount applies when booking two consecutive weeks.

Yes, adults on the third bed in a triple cabin receive a 30% discount (limited availability).

Yes, children under 10 years old receive a discount when sharing a double-use cabin: Deluxe Cruises — 30% discount; Classic Cruises — 50% discount.

A 25% advance payment per person is required at the time of reservation. The remaining balance must be paid at least 45 days prior to departure.

Cancellation fees: from the day of confirmation up to 45 days before arrival — non-refundable deposit; 44-30 days — deposit plus 25% of the remaining balance; 29-22 days — deposit plus 50% of the remaining balance; 21-0 days — 100% fee.

Yes, changes are possible: name change fee — €20 per person; date change fee — €20 per person (valid only if made at least 30 days before departure; otherwise standard cancellation conditions apply). Name and date changes cannot be combined for the same reservation.
