About This Flotilla

A two-week, one-off explorer voyage from Pula at the tip of Istria up to Venice and back — the only Medsail flotilla to cross into Italian waters.

The route calls at Rovinj's old town, Novigrad, the Venetian lagoon itself, Chioggia, and a string of quiet Kvarner islands including Losinj, Silba and Susak on the return leg. Runs once a season, for experienced flotilla sailors.

The 2026 sailing (6 June) has already departed — contact us for the next confirmed date.

Frequently Asked Questions

A flotilla is a small group of yachts sailing the same route together, each skippered independently by its own crew, with a lead boat carrying an experienced flotilla skipper and host to plan the route, help with mooring, and organise social evenings ashore.
Yes, a basic sailing qualification and some experience is expected since you skipper your own yacht — but the lead boat and support crew are there to help throughout the week, making it a great step up for less experienced sailors.
On a bareboat charter you sail entirely independently. On a flotilla, you still skipper your own boat, but sail as part of a group with a lead boat setting the route and providing support and company along the way.
The yacht for your group, the lead boat and flotilla skipper/host, a planned daily route, and organised welcome and social evenings. See the Included/Excluded list on each flotilla for full details.
