Breakfast on board, cruising past villages tucked into the cliffs and watched over by ancient Angevin and Saracen towers, with stops for swimming — including the Furore fjord and the Emerald Cave at Conca dei Marini — before reaching Amalfi itself, one of Italy's historic Maritime Republics. Visit the old town, cathedral and former paper mills. Lunch on board; in the afternoon, an optional trip to Ravello for Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone. Breakfast on board, sailing past the Sirenuse to Capri. Circle the island by boat, then go ashore by tender for lunch and sightseeing — Monte Solaro, Villa San Michele, the Blue Grotto area, Anacapri, Augustus's Gardens and the famous Piazzetta. Dinner and overnight in the bay.

We sail back to Marina di Stabia in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight in harbour.
