La nostra zona di navigazione naturale è il Dodecaneso — la catena di isole al largo della costa sud-occidentale della Turchia, da Kos alla piccola Symi e alla vulcanica Nisyros — abbastanza vicina da permettere a molte crociere di combinare entrambi i paesi.

Poiché il Dodecaneso si trova proprio dall'altra parte del mare rispetto a Bodrum e Marmaris, è facile aggiungere una tappa greca a un charter turco, oppure si può navigare interamente in acque greche partendo da Kos. Kos: the gateway, opposite Bodrum, with a lively harbour and Hippocrates' plane tree. Kalymnos & Pserimos: sponge-diving heritage and quiet swim bays. Nisyros: a live volcanic caldera you can walk into. Symi: a jewel-box neoclassical harbour. Rhodes: a walled medieval city and a long sandy coast.
