The Cuisine of a Blue Cruise: What You'll Eat Onboard

Meals on a gulet are cooked fresh onboard by the crew, usually built around simple, home-style Turkish dishes: menemen or eggs for breakfast, a spread of mezes and grilled or sautéed mains for lunch, and a rotation of fish, chicken and red meat for dinner, always with rice, bulgur or pasta on the side.
Most boats restock produce, bread and fish at the small markets in each port, so the menu shifts slightly with whatever's freshest that day. Afternoon tea — cake, pastries and unlimited tea or coffee — is a fixture on most itineraries.
Dietary requirements (vegetarian, gluten-free, allergies) can almost always be accommodated if flagged at the time of booking. Alcoholic drinks are typically bought separately from an onboard bar rather than included in the charter price.
